Manhattan Beach Hosts 14th Annual Wine Auction

Manhattan Beach, CA (MBEF) -- The 14th annual Manhattan Wine Auction will take place on Saturday, June 14 at the Manhattan Country Club. Over 80 leading wineries will offer tasting of their wines, alongside delicious foods prepared by over 30 of the area's finest restaurants.
This is a fabulous event, drawing over 1,400 wine aficionados to mingle under the stars on Center Court. The John Brown Band will provide entertainment and dancing throughout the evening as well as dancing indoors after 10pm.
The live and silent auctions will include hundreds of lots featuring the best collectible wines, as well as dining, travel, and lodging opportunities. The Manhattan Wine Auction is a charitable auction benefiting the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation (MBEF). Through the generosity of individuals and businesses, MBEF funds critical education programs at each of Manhattan Beach’s seven public schools. These programs are not mandated and would not be possible without private funding. MBEF grants support libraries, PE, a wide variety of elective courses, music, specialized science instruction, counseling, classroom assistants, and more. Last year's event raised over $500,000 for the local schools!
